FAQ
Good questions
Is there downtime?
Very little. Brown spots darken and flake off over about a week. You can wear makeup the next day.
When is the best time of year?
IPL works best when you can avoid strong sun right before and after, so fall and winter are ideal here.
How many treatments?
Often 2–4 sessions, depending on how much sun damage there is.
Can IPL treat melasma?
Melasma usually responds better to a carefully chosen chemical peel. Jessica will recommend the right option at your consultation.
